Alberta Culture Days, the Calgary Civic Symphony and Studio Bell, home of the National Music Centre, are pleased to bring “Build an Orchestra 2017” to the Calgary community.
Join us for this family-friendly event where music lovers of all ages can bang a drum, strum a harp, and meet musicians!
Adults and children will have the opportunity to visit with our orchestra members and look at musical instruments up close. In some cases, people will actually have the opportunity to try an instrument or take a selfie with the instrument! “Build an Orchestra” will be followed by a short concert.
Admission to Studio Bell on October 1 is free for the first 500 visitors. Space is limited for the “Build an Orchestra” program and concert, so please arrive early to secure your spot. Stay after “Build an Orchestra” to explore the National Music Centre exhibitions and enjoy programming to celebrate Alberta Culture Days.
